Christi McGarry previously competed at important national and international pageants such as Binibining Pilipinas 2015 (alongside Pia Wurtzbach) and Miss Intercontinental 2010 & 2015 (That’s right, TWICE). During her second stint at Miss Intercontinental, McGarry ended as a first runner-up.
After the Miss Universe organization changed the age limit criteria for the beauty pageant, the Filipina beauty was eligible to compete once again. At 34 years old, Christi McGarry is bringing her A-Game to the stage of Miss Universe Philippines 2024 to win the La Mer en Majesté crown.

With the lifting of the various restrictions we are seeing another veteran being appointed. It seems the accredited partners are making the assumption that these vets would’ve won their regional titles anyway. How do they know there isn’t a newbie who is even stronger waiting in the wings?
