The Cockburn's Interview – “Finish Hair”

DeRidder, LA – Taliyah Cockburn’s hair was pointed out as incomplete although she made a diliberate choice to wear her natural hair during the Beaufair Pageant competition. Judge #3 commented “finish hair” on her score sheet which caused the Cockburns to investigate the meaning behind the comment. Judge #2, who is African American, agreed with her fellow judges stance.
