  1. I recognised a couple of photos from a compilation of ''favourites'': the images certainly stick in the mind ;o))

The paper printout from a telegraph, BTW, is a telegram in England, the telegraph being the means of transmission. There's a sort of ''half-rule'' about equipment being ***graph and the output being ***gram but photograph immediately bends that out of shape. A photogram comprises measurements or observations based around an image… go figure!

  2. I feel I have to take you to task regarding your comments about Diana Dors. Although frequently reffered to as the British Marilyn Monroe, Diana's career started before and continued after Marilyn's untimely death. True, she was manipulated by her first Husband Dennis Hamilton, who certainly pushed her glamour image, but to infer she only had blonde bimbo roles is wholly inaccurate. Proving her acting ability in Yield to the night, she played a woman on death row awaiting her fate for the killing of her Lover. Later in her career, film roles such as Mrs Wickens in the amazing Mr. Blunden showed she could tackle the haggared old Bag roles as just being a pretty face. Diana was an amazing woman and actress, loved by millions. R.I.P. To the most renowned Lady ever to hail from Swindon, Wiltshire, England.

  3. I love your descriptions.. they're detailed and spoken with such excitement.. starting with the lady who gave her sandwich to the hungry doggie. Thank you SIT – I hope you don't mind me shortening your name. Looking and thinking about the word it makes seems appropriate… that we sit for a few minutes, take your advice to relax, and see how life has been lived through generations.
