For the second year in a row, the Miss Virginia Pageant will be held in Roanoke. The winner of the state contest will win a trip to Atlantic City New Jersey to compete in the Miss America pageant later this summer. Again, the Valley Junior Women’s Club is sponsoring the Virginia pageant.
