My curls hold for days in the East Coast, when i go to LA they drop within an hour

About the cooling, part I have short hair and after curling it I tend to go outside about 10 minutes after to go to school and the curls never last. If I curl it earlier and spent more time inside for it to hold shape before going out will it then last longer through the day?

No way with the reform of guts could you possibly soak your hair in guts with thin fine hair! A DIME size is already going to give you a ton of lift (almost too sticky)

I have thin pin straight hair. I dyed my hair for years and my hair was passed my butt. I stoped dying my hair and when my natural hair grew to my shoulder I cut all my hair that was dyed. So now my hair is it’s natural color and I only use hot tools maybe once even 6 months or so. So I guys it’s not that damaged.
Any who, I will use curlers in my hair over night. I will take out the curls and 30 mins or less my hair will be lightly wavy and an hour later it’s straight. I don’t know how the heck that happens. To go from nice cute curls to straight hair just doesn’t make sense to me.
I hope these techniques work for me. I’ll come back and leave a comment if it does.
darn I have super thick hair and thick strands. Every time I curl they don’t stay .. i let each curl cool in my hand for about 30 seconds but the rest of my already curled hair just falls when i’m done. I didn’t know that it could take up to 30 minutes for the follicles to fully rebond. I’ll go buy some alligator clips and try to clip up my curls for longer. Thank you so much!!

I can never get my curls to stay but I plan on using these methods to curl my hair for a wedding. I plan on recommend washing my hair the night before. Would you recommend I use shampoo but no conditioner? I’m thinking it would help for my hair to be a little less moisturized.

I have tried EVERYTHING apart from crimping the
hair first to give it texture. My hair is too smooth straight and soft. I have bleach balayage so it’s not too healthy. I’m just curly-challenged

My hair is very shiny even if I don't use conditioner. I thought that was the reason but I didn't really wanna brag to myself, but now an expert confirmed it. I feel very cool. On the other hand, it is very thin. Ugh 😂😂😂
My hair is naturally curl/wavy and has plenty of body. My hair looks nice when I wash it, brush it then let it loose, nice wet curl look. But once it dries it is frizzy and curls/wavy is not so good. I had salons curl my hair and it does not hold even right after they do it. My hair is healthy though. Maybe I should just keep trying different stuff until I find what works for me.

My mum used to wave her hair using kirby grips overnight it was always beautiful in the 80s

@Sam Villa…. I'm looking for help. My son and I.. Or hair has changed to low porosity within the year. It has to be due to pollution. My hair is fine his is normal very thick. It could actually cut your skin. What I'm wanting to know if I can bring it back to my old normal porosity. If so, how. I'm using water based with glycerin products. Our hair is wavy/curly. I respect you a lot and have been watching your videos like five years. I'm learning to know what I want done with my hair. You are all respected among stylists. Thanks for your help.
Mine will cirl everywhere except the right side of my head.just the very front bit near my eyes. The other side will curl but that one piece of hair just will not!
Ty I have very healthy super fine thin hair I have to get perms twice back in the day and they still let go to quick but trying to curl my hair I have to freeze spray it and look like a product no no to get it to stay for a few hours. Gonna try the pre texture thing I think that’s a great 💡 to try I’ve grown to accept my poker straight hair that everyone loves but some times I’d like to have something different and pretty.
