  5. I'm old enough to remember Mary Ann when she was Miss America … what a beautiful and talented woman . A woman from the deep south , she had a personality that matched Elvis's … warm and caring , with a great sense of humor ! Thanks Michelle !

  6. I love her! She had me at "I had hair like Darth Vader." during one interview I watched of her.
    Hilarious, humble, & sweet.
She reminded me of my (paternal) grandmother- a woman that didn't have a mean, malicious bone in her body & never said a bad word about anyone.
RIP to my Gram & Miss Maryanne.
Ladies of a class of their own 💕
Hope your enjoying your weekend, Michelle.

  7. Sometimes I can't help but think from some of the pictures I looked at that Mobley and Elvis really looked like they were simply in love. Yet as I looked at Elvis over the years I came to realize that he simply because of his lifestyle and so many beautiful women that loved him that Elvis wasn't gonna be able to settle down with one lady. Elvis loved all that beautiful women and who can really blame him.

  8. Mary Ann was a true friend to Elvis, beautiful inside and out!! Thanks Michelle 😊, you do a great job keeping us updated and ELVIS' memory alive!! TCB Have a blessed day!! 🙌 💘🤗👑

  9. Mary was a beautiful lady inside and out.

A stunning, beautiful talented and gifted actress in her own right.

Whenever Mary was interviewed she spoke only highly and with great love and admiration for Elvis both professionally and personally.

I can imagine they both had immense fun whilst filming together, she appears to have a bubbly effervescent side to her that would sit well alongside Elvis,s own endearing traits.

Thanks Michelle , as usual very informative and enlightening giving us an insider look.i to the beautiful Co stars whom.were lucky enough to have met befriended and worked alongside Elvis. 🌞

  10. Thanks Michelle. Wonderful that Mary Ann was in your spotlight this time. She always spoke so fondly on Elvis. Your info was very informative and interesting. Appreciate all you do. God bless!!

  11. So she was from Biloxi… I wonder if Elvis ever asked her if she knew June…(as Dai would say, girly stuff… 😉)
She was absolutely gorgeous, beautiful brown eyes… there’s a serenity about her, simply beautiful! xxx

  12. Princess Shalimar…i love Mary Ann Mobley and of course "HARUM SCARUM". To me it's a movie with a great fun factor👍TOP!
Thank You Michelle for the superb information on Mary Ann 😘

  13. Hello, my darling, Michelle. This is Mrs. Ace X, writing for the both of us. Mary Ann Mobley. What a beautiful person. As you said, both inside and out. Both she and her husband Gary Collins (who was a really good actor too) participated, upon occasion, on a T.V. show called Tattle Tales. It was a game show about how well 3 or 4 pairs of famous married couples knew each other. In order to win money for the audience members in thier section, they would have to give an honest answer about thier life experiences and try to match thier spouces answer. I remember one time when her husband Gary had given some answer where he was saying that she was innocent (was a virgin) when they got married. She had answered differently, and said well he doesn't nessesarily know everything. She did not quite say how far that she had gone with anyone. She was acting a little bit cute, but sheepishly secretive about her answer. The look on Gary's face was hurt, almost disalutioned and maybe angry, at the same time. It makes me wonder if she had a little romance with our Elvis, back then, when they were making movies together. Tattle Tales still plays here, off and on. I have seen it within the last year. I believe that it was filmed in the 1970's and some maybe in the 1980's. It was a lot of fun to watch. Maybe you could pull up episodes that they played on, to learn more about her life, for fun. I was very tiny, when she won the title of Miss America, but I remember it. I had wanted her to win. I then also thought that she was very beautiful. There was something special about her soul that I felt as a toddler, that made me want her to win. She was more than just likable. I rejoiced in my happy little spirit when she one. I can only remember a handful of winners from beauty pageants from my whole life time, at best. She always stood out to me as being a very special, sweet soul. In a special way, I believe that she and Elvis were and are kindred spirits. Maybe it has something to do with thier great compassion and thier love for all people. She is a spirit that I would like to meet, on the other side. I figure that she knows whoever is thinking about her, so maybe she'll help escort me to our Almighty Gods' Great Beyond (as I often call it) when it is my transition time.
