Family and friends of AJ Owens are demanding justice after the Florida mother of four was shot and killed by a neighbor who reportedly confronted the woman’s children.
“We are here on her behalf, we are here on behalf of the four kids who are left behind without a mother,” Owens’ mother Pamela Diaz said.
The Marion County, FL sheriff said it appears that there has been a “long-standing feud,” between Owens and the neighbor.
The sheriff says the neighbor has claimed the shooting was self-defense under Florida’s “Stand Your Ground law.” The neighbor has not been arrested or charged with a crime.

If stand-your-ground laws are so great then why is it only implemented in Florida? Even though that woman still should have been arrested right away because no one proves she was standing her ground.. That should be for the courts to decide, Not police or anyone else.
