Since his death in 2000, Morley’s widow, Julia Morley, has co-chaired the pageant. Along with Miss Universe, Miss International and Miss Earth, this pageant is one of the Big Four international beauty pageants—the most coveted beauty titles when it comes to international pageant competitions.

The current Miss World is Toni-Ann Singh of Jamaica, who was crowned on 14 December 2019 in London, England. She is the fourth Jamaican to win Miss World.
Aishwarya Rai was crowned Miss World in 1994 and Priyanka Chopra won the title in 2000. The grand finale of the Miss World 2019 beauty pageant will be held in ExCeL London, UK, on December 14.
Rajasthan’s Suman Rao, who was was crowned Miss India 2019, will be representing India at the pageant 2021.
