I keep reading this was the parents fault. The mother was not allowed custody and did not live there. She had drug problems. The father also had drug problems and did live there so, this is the one to look at. Additionally, the grandmother had custody and so, she would be to blame the most. This is the personification of 'trailer trash.' The parents involved are/were drug addicts and have no rights to their child/children. Drugs were essentially more important than the care of their children. Facts. I do think the father and even more so the grandparent that was the LEGAL guardian should be charged with endangering the minor in their care. I blame the mother the very least because she was not present and apparently did not get along with the father. She was essentially estranged. Also, she was pleading for help and the grandmother and father of Audrii were nowhere in sight.
He was probably molesting that poor girl for years. They all need to go to prison parent & the judge too

I bet he was trying to lure mom to see the child so she would become the fall person for his filthy crime. Mom didn't have custody or able to see her daughter. Dad and Grandma had custody and THEY BOTH are the ones who let this evil sick man live on the property, babysit her and give her rides!! They both need to be investigated for neglect at a minimum and EVERY child in that home removed right away. Dad and Grandma pretty much handed this baby to this freak on a silver platter. He needs to get the death penalty and have it carried out way before 10-25 years from now. Regardless of situation mom was on TV begging for the return of her child and she doesn't even have contact where in the hell we're her custodial dad and grandma at? This is sick on so many levels….if parents don't care about their kids then STOP having them or give to someone else to love.
