In this short showreel….Australian Indian Diversity Youth and Personal Branding Mentor, Raj Suri, introduces Sakshi Singh – Miss India Australia Winner 2018.
Sakshi Singh is an Australian-Indian actor and a doctor. She was raised in Australia as a teenager. She finished her schooling in Victoria and went on to study Medicine from The University of Melbourne. She has been working as a doctor in Melbourne and also pursuing her passion for acting. Sakshi is the Miss India Australia 2018 and she also won the first runner up title at the Miss India Worldwide Pageant in USA, held in 2018.
Sakshi played the lead role in the short film titled “Long Distance.” The film has been selected in many international festivals including “Toronto Film Festival”, “Boston International Film Festival”. She also played the lead in another short film following this, along with playing supporting lead in an upcoming Australian feature film titled “Song without words.”
Sakshi has worked in many TV commercials for brands like Toyoto, Crime stopper and Johnnie Walker. She has also played the lead in two Indian music videos.”
Sakshi Singh travels between Bollywood and Melbourne to pursue her two loves – medicine and acting.
