  1. I have ditched the tripod in the studio, it's far to cumbersome and slow. I have replaced it with a Studio stand with a Manfrotto ball Head fitted to the grip supplied with the stand, use this for a few minutes and you will never go back to using a tripod in your studio again.

  2. This one is a tough comment for me to write but you shouldn't liquify her Vanessa Joy, she looked fine. Not sure why the cringe factor needed to happen but she's what a normal woman looks like. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it looks like she wanted to be in a pageant because she herself thinks she is beautiful. You know? I usually enjoy your tutorials but I had to thumbs this one down. I would hate it if my wife felt she needed to liquify her arms or any part of her to make herself feel better. I heard you mention that you asked her but I wouldn't even have that as a thought. I wouldn't do it to a "thin-ner" model, why her? Love your curves is what I say. My wife told me she loves my dope love handles, lucky me because I ain't leaving pizza.

  3. Your editing skills are amazing. I have to say I'm not into liquefying and changing texture. I may remove a blemish but I like real. There are too many young women who don't like the way they look. Seth reported on that on Adorama Rewind with the story about girls who edited their own images. They made themselves look like something they are not. That's a shame they aren't happy with who they are. I'm sorry. I imagine you probably didn't expect this kind of comment but this is a topic that has always concerned me. I wish people would just be happy with themselves, with what they are born to be and not trying to make themselves into something that isn't them, that's artificial. When they do that, thinking that will make them happy it turns out the opposite and they are more miserable. I'm sorry but this strikes at something I'm concerned about.

  4. Just wondering if you have ever used Portrait Pro? For me it saves an awful lot of time 'faffing' around in Lightroom or Photoshop desperately trying to remember how to do things and the resulting images are nowhere near as good as those achieved by Portrait Pro.
