| via MJ Marfori

Db showcasing their features just simply convey inclusivity? Arti ng ibang lahing ulikba dyn!

  2. There is no blackfishing. The girl just tanned herself or shall we say, our real color as Filipino. Hndi nag intense itim c girl kundi brown lng. Lahat tau ganyan kulay kung magbibilad tau kaya paano nangyari blackfishing. Bawal na ba magpakulot? Ano ba ginawa ni girl, nagrap ba cya o nagblack accent? Hndi nman d ba?

  3. I agree, we should show compassion and educate, but the onus is really not on black people to educate ignorasmuses because they already have very real and relevant traumas to deal with everyday. That said, this candidate has already been illuminated to the fact that she's doing something WRONG (which is why she deleted the evidence on social media), and after a black person (the sovereign) already elaborated on the issue at length… THIS CANDIDATE IS STILL PORTRAYING HERSELF AS A BLACK PERSON IN THE LATEST CASTING VIDEO CHALLENGE. Talagang pasaway!! It's like she's really asking to be cancelled. When is MUPH gonna do something about this? I know many think pinoys shouldnt give an f about being woke and blackfishing etc ("it's just Americans being maarte") but it's about AN INTERNATIONAL PAGEANT. Of course the candidates gotta be woke! Kakahiya!

  5. Nah african american think they own all about black things, only america has racism, its beauty queen not color queen. I think she's not gonna win because of hypocrite american people.

  6. she is not pretending to be black women she just want her hair like that and there's nothing wrong with that. bakit hindi na ba pwede maging curly at maging tan or brown or morena? yan talaga ang real color niya Tan skin naging real lang siya ang mali lang niya nag curly hair siya hindi niya na perfect tapos nag ngawa na ang SOVEREIGN na yan about copying the black women if they will try to copy them make it perfect daw.

  7. I hAte to say that why are we condemning the person rather than researching what her roots are. An Aeta and igorot can look like black, same features and all. Lets ask research before we judge people

At hindydin tayo wokes. Kaya nga meron province tayo name Negros Occidental.

  9. It seems to me "black fishing" is an invented concept, maybe very new concept, only an issue because it is being amplified in social media. What is the big deal???!!! Women, everywhere, from time immemorial have always adopted, copied anything and everything that makes them more attractive. Men did too. One culture gets influenced and enriched by another culture.. sometimes vice versa. Language, reactions, clothes styles, manners, makeup, hairstyle, etc etc. Ways that are good, attractive, cool, fresh. Styles that are new, that fit, and pleasing. Is one hairstyle a property of one culture or race? Is one person not allowed to tan himself if it makes him feel better or more attractive? Should dark haired people stop coloring their hair brown, red, green, blond? It seems to me that the questions should be: does it make one look good? Does it make one feel better about himself? Is this person hurting another when he adopts these changes in himself? Is he doing it to hurt or mock others? What is the big deal? Is it a crime to copy/adopt what you admire and what is cool? Is MAKEOVER a bad word? Wouldn't it be somewhat stupid to copy/adopt the things that are uncool or unattractive or negatives? Did this MUP candidate hurt someone or stepped on something "sacred" with her makeover? All she did was put make up on and curled her hair.
