This 1974 Ford Pinto belonged to Kyle Clinkscales, 22, who has been missing for 45 years. A 911 caller alerted police to a creek where the caller somehow discovered the car. Inside, Clinkscales’ wallet was found and his possible remains. Investigators say in 1976, Clinkscales was driving from LeGrange, Georgia, to Auburn University in Alabama where he was a student.   1. This is so sad. That poor guy and the parents. Just awful to have to live your life not knowing where your son is. I believe some people suffer hell on earth.

  2. That's well preserved for being under water for 45 years. Compared to other cars I've seen that have been missing for half that period. God bless him may his spirit rest in peace.

  3. He was murdered in Troup County at the time of his disappearance. The sheriff knows that. The car likely has been unearthed accidentally and moved to this creek recently.
