Wow, that moved me! Thank you Courtney for sharing this with us. I really needed to hear this, I've been going through a season of depression & doubt regarding my family's salvation. I live with my parents and brother & they are not saved yet. I have been feeling this heavy burden of feeling like my family's salvation is entirely up to me and if I'm not the "perfect" example of a Christian to them, then they will not be saved. But God has been telling me that's not true nor does He want me to go through life carrying that type of burden. That is not my burden to carry and it is not my battle to fight. I can't SAVE people, only Jesus can. Ultimately, their salvation is dependent upon their own decision to repent, willingly surrender & pursue a relationship with Jesus. And just as He had a perfect will and timing for me, He has a perfect will and timing for them! God has not forgotten about my family. He HEARS my prayers. The SAME God who delivered me, will deliver them. Therefore, I can put my trust in Him and I can rejoice in the waiting period! I know His promises will always come to pass and His word never returns void. I can fully put my faith in Him and find reassurance through His word.
