pageants are effing horrible. i mean, majority of the people i know, including me, actively starve themselves for various reasons. but pageants teach freaking 5 year olds that you need to be perfect, beautiful, and skinny to succeed in life. they are just ruining the lives of children. it kills me to see how bad they will be when they grow up.

I do not like the mom, the coach and if I'm truthful the kid either. She's nine and all the neck snapping, the talk and the little ''I'm a diva' attitude is not cute nor funny. It seems like the coach and the mom were like that as little girls, now they're like that as women. Which looks and sounds ridiculous. She's gonna roll her neck and say something smart to the wrong person, who will then slap the shit out of her. Nobody like a fresh mouthed, spoiled little girl. Oh, and Miss Universe's are very intelligent and poised. Not just pretty. Her mother needs to teach her she should be the opposite of what a diva is.

I’m 21 and I’m still scared of contacts. I highly don’t recommend contacts for children because they may not be able to care for them properly and could get eye ulcers.

I hate these moms they make me angry there constantly saying "you're not doing it properly" "you need to do it better" "you need to pretty" this why there kids like this saying "I'm not good enough" "I am worthless" "I am ugly" they literally kids! You destroyed there hole self esteem. This world is fucked up.

Uhh sweetheart to be a Miss Universe you have to know more than "how many days are there in a week". It's a tough competition and is not based on beauty but also intelligence, empathy and many more lol

Do these people take any classes on child development? Locking a child in a room isn’t a very good method for discipline.

Omg, they are way way too young to use contact lenses hygenically enough and not risk constant eye infections. I still needed to be taught correct hygiene when I used them first at aged 13

I’m legally blind and if I was in the pageant I would wear my glasses and walk on stage with my white cane 🦯🥰
