As much as I want my coutry Philippines to win again another crown, but still I want other countries to win so that they can also promote their country. ♛
It feels like to me like the caliber of contestants are reaching fever pitch hot. Like every year we see even more amazing woman and this pageant seems to be exemplifying and uplifting woman across the globe. As the brands influence grows of #MissUniverse and the effect of their influence has on what woman can achieve.
I know we need to refine a bit more here in south Africa still but we do great prep. #SouthAfrica

Czech Republic and Poland always send a over all perfect but it always neglected Puerto Rico and Colombia always send a very high competitive candidates but the problem sometimes is attitude and the style is always the same like Colombia they always stays Gold if not its Silver.
That’s not the miss South Africa that didn’t place in …. The picture you used is MISS SOUTH AFRICA 2015 refilwe mithmunye and she made the top 15 at miss universe in 2015. With pia …you mean miss South Africa 2016 didn’t place the next year in the Philippines

I agree that india's placement history was not so good. But due to sponsership change in 2019 and upgrade in their digital team has changed the game completely. Honestly I don't see any other country is as strong in creating momentum after competition starts. See adline and harnaaz , we see them every where in social media and a great hype and momentum till last day.
India and Puerto Rico has always had a special connection in Miss Universe. MU 1993 (PR) crowned MU 1994 (India) and MU 2000 (India) crowned MU 2001 (PR). It would be interesting if the pattern repeats this year as well.
Philippines has a pool of potential Miss Universe winners … it's just that they were not yet into it … Athisa Manalo, Kelsey Merritt, even Liza Soberano … I would love Thailand to win or Brazil next …
I am so excited to see who places where next competition. I have an obvious bias but I think USA is definitely someone to look out for! I also cant wait to see France's performance as they have recently become one of my fave countries in this competition!

just an opinion but 2018 colombia had some issues which i think contributed to her being unplaced.
