As someone with autism, I really saw a lot of traits that she could possibly – not definitely – be on the spectrum. She was painfully shy, seemed very overstimulated and snappy in the presence of lights and noise, the much younger performance in the elf costume, uncoordinated and a little stiff.. I'm just saying it would not surprise me. As well meaning as her dad was, even if she is simply shy and awkward, you don't shove a shy person into a situation where they are on the spot. Don't tell them to do things, gently encourage them and let them know that being quiet and reserved is O-KAY! I can't look at people when they talk to me and that really pisses people off, and if they keep telling me to look at them, I cry because I can't handle the situation. Let shy people be fucking shy. If they're more comfy avoiding crowds and blending in, LET THEM. Stop trying to mould people into what you think they should be. Celebrate them!!!! Support, encourage and love them.

OK, can we talk about the dad?! Like… wtf lol. I feel like he's got a freezer full of body parts buried somewhere bizarre. And his ex wife thinking he would blow up, there's a really bad something beneath that dudes weirdness. Like if he ever moved next door to me, and I met him, I'd move asap.
