It was weirdly really touching to see Jasmine and the rest immediately genuinely laugh after Daya goes "I'm like an older jasmine just prettier".
They are good people who just happened to be put in a stressful environment and I can definitely understand saying something that is not you and is hurtful because of all the pressure around you.
Cut her some slack because these queens, they're willing to grow, what they've shown this season is not everything they'll ever be and that's a great thing.

So, basically, Daya always said what everyone else was thinking during the competition but didnt have the courage to do so because they were afraid of the edit. And she suffered the consequences. Sometimes the producers harm the queens in they way they're represented on the show, but the blame is 100% on the audience! No wonder all this new seasons are "boring" and "everyone's friends", the queens are terrified!
