Willow wasn’t allowed to show throwing the toaster in the tub and herself in the tub as it’s a depiction of suicide and that has all sorts of legal connotations and there’s just no way the producers would’ve allowed it.
In fact, Willow has said that they didn’t allow it, hence the toaster was chucked at it but on the side by the end to leave it ambiguous for viewers to interpret as they like.
Her entrance look was understated by like sarcastic- it was Paris Hilton circa 2003 (I think) and definitely a reference people got, but her shirt was misspelt on purpose and things like that. Whatever anyone might think, it was highly memorable and would’ve been easy to move in. She’s a quirky queen. Her three looks fitted together to give different aspects of Willow Pill, so it was coherent. I really liked her.
Her condition causes problems with her hands and feet and her fine motor skills so on a bad day, she might not be able to cope with zips and buckles – I don’t know. I know she’s Yvie’s drag sister and I have the same condition as Yvie, not as Willow Pill.
I think after a run of photoshoots in water tanks/rubbish tips/fires/spinning knife boards/flying through the air and then the unexpected lip syncs last year, every queen has come in something that will cope with lip syncing and water etc etc
Alyssa looked fab but they were specifically told that their talent show piece and drag and their runway should give the judges (& world) a good idea of what sort of drag performer they are. Alyssa presented two such completely different looks that this was completely lost, but her My Fair Lady look was definitely the most polished and elevated look on the runway.
So far, I’m liking these queens (both sets), especially Bosco, Kornbread, Willow and Alyssa in this half, but I’m not gagged at the clothes yet. It’ll come.
