The clips they are having on live with multiple people are when they had won the small beauty pageants for the 77 provinces. Engfa & Char had never met in person, Char went to Bankok (Krungthep Mahanachon) and saw Engfa win miss Bankok. She had been a fan from tiktok (this will be explained in the later videos). Engfa was tiktok famous and had been in the voice Thailand before she went into the pageant.
A few of the pageant girls knew each other before (Heidi, Charlotte, & Marima). So before the pageant someone invites P'fa/Engfa & Charlotte on live and Char gets so shy. Engfa is a natural flirt so she started flirting hard with her.
I won't spoil much, but just be patient. By the end of it, everything will make sense.
What's important to know is that the shipping happened separately from the competition and it was organic because people saw their chemistry on lives and started shipping them. By the time they met in real life at the competition, the ship had become bigger than they expected.
you not wrong about how Miss Grand works, first they chose Province Queens, in Thailand they have 77 Provinces so every Queen need to win in their Province of choice (some participate in multiple ones to try to win, for ex Charlotte lost to Heidi in a Province, and than decided to try again in a different one and won there). After all 77 Province have their Queen there is the Miss Grand Thailand contest. All 77 Queen enter and than during the pageantry they go down to Top 10… between the top 10 they chose the 2 that will go face to face for the crown. In this case it was Heidi Vs Engfa and Engfa won.
