She concider herself a woman, who was naturally born man and fought stregth to come out and be who really she is, not a man but a woman. So for her maybe this is a stength and courage to empower one to achieve his/her goal, like from being a man to a woman, is not easy, she even became a mother. So because of this, she stands that a transgender must be accepted as "woman" and can join Miss Universe.

If married women should be allowed in Miss Universe, then it should be Mrs. Universe. I'm not against the LGBT community, I actually have a friend who's gay, but when it comes to this competition, if they really want to compete there should be a separate competition for transgender women, because no matter what you do and even if you look like a woman now, that doesn't change the fact that you are born as a man.
