Here is where I saw harnaaz for the first time, and when I saw her at the moment I wanted her to represent india at miss universe pageant. I was mesmerized by her glamorous beauty. And finally she came back won miss diva and subsequently miss universe crown for india. Although I won't deny at a point my confidence towards her dwindled a bit, because I thought the kind of beauty and look she has , she was more suitable for miss supranational. But she proved me wrong because she was confident, fierce , intelligent and had great stage presentation skills.

Beauty pageants are about uplifting women..then why to set the criteria..Miss India should welcome all heights of women to come and display their talent..
Even not so tall girls have immense grace and confidence that they can bring change to society they live in..!
I think that till today in india we people are judging beauty of women on physical traits..that's why Miss india still have height criteria ..thousands of young girls ladies have their dreams to be MiSs India but height dont allow them to do..Miss India focusses on empowering women..but they are empowering tall & beautiful women..what about rest..if such big platforms will do discriminations( will set height criteria) then how other not so tall women will come ahead and forge their talent..Height is something that is natural how we people can determine our height…
