People say "this will not happen next year" really? FSU was slighted in 2014 with JAMEIS WINSTON playing QB for FSU, after winning the HEISMAN the year before.😅 The only difference next year will be that 9 out of the 12 slots will be filled by SEC teams and a few BIG 10 teams. The top ACC and big 12 teams will be revying for the remaining 2 or 3 remaining slots…Please stop saying this is fair and admit dirty money (by people wearing suits) is openly and blatantly making the decisions on who should play, throwing out the wins/losses records.

2 different standards. If it’s the 4 best teams. Then Ohio State should be in the top 4. They lost to a team that was higher ranked at the time, then Bama, Georgia & Texas. And they on any given Saturday could beat any of the teams in the playoffs.

Outright ridiculous. As a dawg fan who felt the officiating was unusually biased during the SEC Championship, I dismissed it as football is football…we should've played better. But now it's obviously clear what the intent was. I feel really bad for Florida State.
If Norvell had protected his MVP QB & instructed him to hand the ball off 44 times against N AL, he would likely have been available to hand the ball off 44 times against the Lville. His impulsive & reckless running of his MVP in a glorified blowout scrimmage will go down as THE worst play call in FSU history! This is 100% the cause of the injury and cost this wonderful, dedicated young man his teammates the most important 4 games of their career and would have been the most important in Norvell's career. He choked, blew it and cost FSU $10M in playoff money!! Plus his AD spent the offseason trashing & threatening the ACC then needs several ACC officials on the Committee & ESPN to bail out his coach from his poor decision.

I don't like Florida St. or Alabama, but the Noles got robbed. Undefeated, beat two SEC teams away, were the only team to beat Clemson at their house, won their last two games with 2nd and 3rd string QBs. Bama? A week ago they got miraculously lucky against a middling Auburn squad thanks to a foolish defensive alignment in the last play– and earlier lost by 10 at home.
No you're wrong. There is a right answer. Any undefeated conference champions and then all the other metrics to figure it out and if that means no SEC team, boo fukking hoo. Let them cry a river for being a loser

FSU SOS – 55th
Bama SOS – 5th
FSU top 25 wins – 3-0
Bama top 25 wins – 4-1
FSU best wins – LSU and Louisville
Bama best wins – Georgia and LSU
Take into consideration how these teams have played over the season as well, and FSU has been more consistent but Bama’s best is better than FSU’s best. Both have had several close calls. With all this said, it seems pretty clear to me that Bama deserved the spot. Even with Jordan Travis, Bama is better, and Bama has a better resume by far. It’s not even close. The only thing FSU has over Bama is that they’re undefeated, and Bama has 1 loss. Is that enough to put FSU in over Bama? Not in my book.
