Welcome to Movie Shortens. Set on a national holiday—the Fourth of July—four seniors spend their last summer time together at a secret beach. They build a bonfire on the beach and discuss the old urban legend about the adolescent couple who discovered the bloody hook embedded in their car door. Then, on their way home, they happen to hit a shadowy figure walking in the road. In a panic, they throw him into the sea, despite the fact that he is not yet dead. They are afraid to go to the police and risk being charged with reckless manslaughter. But, exactly one year later, the dead man returns from his watery grave, seeking more than an apology!
