Heatless pageant hair?!
Recommendation: I love the curls I achieve from following the video, How to Create 90's Inspired Supermodel Hair. I would love to see you try it. You can also apply the method to heatless curling, I use a hair "setting lotion" for this. Reply if you want details. I know everyone loves curling overnight but for me my hair gets pulled and damaged easily and I never sleep with overnight curlers anymore, except for one method that works perfectly (you have already tried this method, you put flexi rods inside socks and do 1 or 2 sections only). I LOVE doing flexirods and other heatless curlers during the day and sitting in the sun (or using a blow dryer on low with heat protectant in my hair) and then going and standing in front of the air conditioner (the heat, followed by the cooling down is what actually sets the curls). I have a cool option on my blow dryer but I find it does not work as well.
