I for real for real just want the swan ripping off the sign with subtitles for “why aren’t you making it to the pageant?!” underneath so I can send it to anyone who bails on me for plans.
Maybe they did a blood test and everything was "in the norm". If you do not have another blood test to compare it with, things might be "in the norm", but already showing signs of a problem for that individual.
I am happy they called in a special surgeon to remove the rest of the cancerous growth. That being said, she needs a LOT more oncological therapy, maybe a special clinic. This is NOT something for a dubious "coach" to handle, even if the growth is all taken out pretty soon.
A blood test would not detect skin cancer and tumor markers are not diagnostic for cancer because other conditions can cause the same elevated markers so you would have to have the biopsy to confirm the cancer.
So my dentist had to take some old crowns off from when I didn't have insurance. I had to get an implant, but my dentist didn't show me my mouth because it would be traumatizing… legit what she said.
I have Medicare and they literally cover the BARE MINIMUM for dental work. I'm a single mom and don't have the kind of money to pay for the dental work I desperately need so my teeth are in a horrific state and have actually caused other health issues for me. It has literally killed my self confidence and people judge me so much. I have had customers at work say nasty things regarding how I look. The only option I have at this point is to get full dentures at 32 years old. I wish the USA was like alot of the European countries who actually cared about their citizens.
The only good thing to come out of patty finding out she had cancer on TV is that she probably didn't have to pay for her treatment which would have cost an arm and a leg in the US even with insurance. On that same note, I don't think it was standard at the time to have blood tests before surgery but I'm not a doctor so…
Somewhat Unrelated but I grew up in Marina del ray , California (where a lot of this is filmed) it’s so weird re watching this show with you and seeing all this crazy drama at the beach I learned to swim etc etc
I remember seeing this just a few times back in the day, but watching it with you is sooo much better!!
Medical/Dental care in the US is very, very different than most other countries. Many families who are low/middle income are unable to get care because they simply cannot afford it!!

i live in the UK and i totally agree that dental care needs to be better provided on NHS – you shouldnt have to have rotting teeth before qualifying for NHS treatment!!!!

Omg the shoes! My manager is very much a tomboy and for her birthday we all wanted to get her a voucher for the local hardware store as she goes there almost everyday as she's building her own house and building her own swimming pool. But no, our very feminine boss bought her an expensive pair of heels 😅🥲 at least our manager had a sense of humour and said "oh you could have gotten work-boots at least?" 🤣 that scene with the heels made me think of this.
I would have 'a few' things to say.
I mean as a kid I would eat 3 triple decker pb&j sandwiches for lunch and was still stick thin, but if I ate that now, oh man. (I mean honestly I don't even think I could eat that much now). Kids do have much higher metabolisms due to hormones, growing, generally being more active, ect. so while kids do need a balanced diet they do need more calories generally, so it does make sense that eating like her kids would cause her to gain weight.

Cinnamon's body already was traditionally "feminine" before, you know full round hips, a soft belly, a pear-shape figure, she really didn't need any liposuction at all…but, you know, "standards"…

I was in Basic Military Training in 2003. We weren't allowed to have tweezers, so we used to pull threads out of our sheets to do our eyebrows 😁
I know breast augmentation has always been one of the most wanted modification, but it sounds like a stupid idea to give a cop huge bosoms. This womans needs to be able to run comfortably and (it shouldn't be a thing but) we all know the struggles of busty women to be taken seriously.

Thank you for pointing out how weird it was that she explained her gaining weight because she started eating what her children eat. I'm European and for us that so many Americans eat that unhealthy is already weird till a bit shocking for us. Honestly, I was attacked one for that comparison [and btw. it doesn't come from a bad place of mind, it's just factual] and when I asked her if she might give me examples for the healthy food she's regularly eating I was, let's call it confused. By I don't blame the American folks for it, I blame the government and companies on it that keep them quite uneducated about such.
Anyway, I thank you that you said that because I was pretty much confused that it should be normal to five your children such unhealthy food, unhealthier than your own, completely being aware of it. I just thought that can't be… please don't tell me it could be a common mindset to give children fatty food, free from nutrition values. But seeing you being weirded out by that gave me back some hope.
I've seen a person that had tattoos that got a tummy tuck, and the tattoo was cut in half abruptly in the middle

Love you Luxeria! But I have to say that not always growing cancer shows up in blood tests. Im a biochemist too, I work in medical laboratory. Usually the tests runed before surgery are pretty basic, to see if there is any infection deseases and STDs, hemoglobin level, white cells count, hemostasis, etc. But cancer biomarkers are run after detecting cancer (through images and biopsies) because there’s a lot of false positives. I just wanted to clarify that! Love all your videos and love seeing a fellow biochemist in youtube! ♥️
