its the parent's choice when or if you have you kids you as a parent can make that choice to put make up on your child or not and my daughter is going in her first pageants and that is my choice to make not anyone else choice stop hateing i can see if it was out side pageants and some parents do over do it too much put it is just makeup

What's up with all the hate . I saw some comments saying girls this young shouldn't be wearing makeup. Well, some kids like to wear makeup and be glitzy, if she wants to do that there's no problem with that .

I don't see why people say all of these negative things about beauty pageants. It's the parents that create the negativity. I see no problem with it. They win money for college and I they go far enough they can put it on a resume for college. The only way it's wrong, is if it's the parents choice and the children don't enjoy it.
We are doing our first glitz pageant soon and this was very helpful!!!
Pageants r not like that in the U.K!! children are very modest and innocent, and certainly no makeup
OMG PEOPLE! if she wants to go in a beauty paeagnt let her!! I'm going in to a beauty pageant, and the children cant wear makeup. It just a little expiereince if u wanna become a model when ure older. You dont have to wear makeup to enter a  pageant

for all the people saying its disgusting to have your child judged, well you need a slap of reality!!!!! We all get judged by everyone everyday, even when you go for a job interview! how many times do you see a girl and say wwww that outfit is ugly but her face is uglier??? don't say you don't cuz we all do it its just a sport of being a girly girl nothing wrong if you teach your daughter to be a good sport about it
Beauty pageants are disgusting. Ask any mental doctor, and they will tell you that child beauty pageants have long lasting negative effects on children.
