It's because you rat your hair with it. Rap is another word for teasing , lacing,back combing ect. So it's a rat comb because you can rat with any come of course but this one you have also has a tail so it's a rat tailed comb not rat tail 🙂 (I'm a cosmetologist so I'm not just blowing smoke up your ass I promise 🙂 your so beautiful by the way and your hair even when you said fuzzy gorl gorgeous hair wow lovely ponytail too. Also everything works better with dirty hair , especially updos.

LOVE this ponytail. I've done this ponytail two weekends in a row now, while sitting in my car, minutes before my race. No bobby pins or hairspray. Just throw it up quick and dirty with some hair ties and clips, and not does it turn out to be cutest pony I've ever worn, but it stays perfectly up and in place during my 5k or 10k. Thank you for sharing this.
