Seeing Wednesday smile is the creepiest thing in this movie. It gives me the creeps any time I see that scene.
I can empathize with Fester. As someone who has only ever been treated badly by past partners, if I ever found another relationship, I'd take it no matter how mean they were, because it's better than the misery of lonliness.

When I was a young teen, I had such a crush on Wednesday Addams. She was one of my first celebrity crushes.
One of my fave films, so fun to watch with you! I had a huge smile on my face during Wednesday's (and co.) revolt.

Oh come on….Tell me Debbie is not one of the greatest villain performances of the 90s?! So over the top! So hammie! And I'm going to throw this out there…. This is one of the rare sequels that either equalled or exceeded the original. That scene in the police station ALONE is worth the price of admission.

I will always treasure this movie just for Wednesday roasting Gary's script: "Your work is puerile and under-dramatized. You lack any sense of structure, character, and the Aristotelian unities."

31:00 whenever I hear that song, I recall a friend at uni getting “traumatised”, and it was by a comment that would very easily be believable for the characters of this film…
The young lady in the student lounge randomly started singing the line, but as she took in a fresh breath, someone else cut in with a comment which had everyone in fits of laughter
“The hills are alive, with the sound of…”
“…German field artillery…”
What made it truly hilarious was that the person who called that out said it IN TUNE…

20:45 as dark and morbid as the fami.y is, watching that scene again, I’d wager that insinuation of the stripper being dead was a set up prank and that they didn’t actually die…just tried to make it look that way for the joke
We know from the films they DONT have any real qualms about killing people, but from what we see, that indifference to deaths seems more aimed at those who have wronged them…?
You couldn't call what Pubert did murder or manslaughter, he was simply saving his family from a killer. It was reasonable force.
RIP Raul Julia (Gomez). He was a great actor who stole many scenes. He died in 1994 a year after this movie- way too young. We had a lot more to see from him.
