    Godfrey,
    Your sentiment was incorrectly expressed.
    ALL RESPECT DUE,
    A fetish involves something inanimate….
    To project that onto our
sisters is irony; because the objectification; is in the WORD.

  2. Before the women came on. I already knew that there mother's were ⚪. Identity, culture and heritage are passed on through the mother. This topic is annoying. Show me pictures of Mulattos being lynched. How many Light skinned women get clowned for their skin? Acting Black is not the same as living Black. It doesn't make you relatable. It makes you a performer.

  3. When Gab said “It felt good. I was embraced by everyone” ….the light went off. . . That sentiment is exactly why women of darker complexions sometimes will find it hard to be comfortable around lighter skinned women with European features. It’s like it just highlights the truth that the very same men who preferred/chose your white mothers did not want us, and that does not feel good. Another sistah who was black just like you had to be rejected and overlooked so that your white mother could be chosen, that’s part of the pain. So it’s more just a desire to understand the rationale of the men who chose non-Afro women and coping with the appeal. Definitely translates into hate, but Gabrielle is very sunshine like, it’s a plus that she is outspoken about her blackness and belonging to the people
Also, Von must have forgot about “passing.” She said “we was in the house too, just closer to rape” as if passing weren’t even a factor. If you were light enough, and no one knew you were negro, you didn’t stay a slave or risk getting caught and returned to Master as a fugitive, you could just “pass” and stay free
Godfrey hit on everything really – when he said why don’t women more often say “we goin in but only if you let these 3 here in with us” so simple, but makes so much sense.

  4. 21:00, Godfrey I love you bruhman but you are wrong. When a Dominican says he is not black he is 100% right. Guess what, so called black americans aint black either. Black is a color. Our skin is really brown. Dominican refers to a culture. You cant see that as them denying their "africanness"…..b/c from a technical perspective their right…nobody is black. That's a color. I never actually met a black or white man. Anyways, Godfrey even your not black. You're Nigerian with brown skin color…. Nigerian refers to your culural background and brown is the color of your skin.

This black and white stuff is a a societal construct…created by people with an agenda. I know godfrey knows better but like most of us – we dont always choose our words right so this stuff can get lose in interpretation.

  5. These women had to be humbled. There are prettier woman than you two. Yo would be very mad 😡 to stand in line while other more prettier women would past you by.

  6. It's sad because the stories they're telling can be heard (in reverse) from darker skinned people. Just realize when we down each other because of complexion, it's just carrying the white man's water.

  7. The Von girl needs to know how to accept a compliment. You don’t be rude to someone giving you a genuine compliment, you’re taking your looks for granted. You think you can just be an asshole to everybody? That is asshole behavior for someone to give your a genuine compliment and for to snap and get angry at that person…… =asshole!

  8. do not like the person on the right at all! @38:42 she's being rude to the host and the other girl, wow! you will not get me saying you are beautiful because I don't think that you are and you aren't funny either. just aggressive, mad aggressive!

  9. Godfrey, when you get a chance will you start a goodreads? I need a list of all the books you’ve read, so me and my kids can also read them. Thank you bro! God bless!

  10. It’s even deeper than that. It’s another layer turning working class white folks from working class black folks. Separation is a powerful tactic. The US doing it right now all over the Middle East.
