  1. Is always the haters that’s don’t know anything about the competition and comment the dumbest things. First, it’s always been a scholarship competition and second the swimsuit portion is not necessary for the competition. It’s the men that want that portion beck because they’re creeps.

  2. The program has been severely downgraded and doesn't deserve national airtime with the current format. Not everyone should be able to compete. You need to have beauty and brains. You should be able to stun the crowd in a swimsuit and an evening gown. This program has been picked apart and destroyed all in the name of political correctness. They need to return to the original format. If you want a scholarship contest, you need to launch a second program under the MAO umbrella and leave Miss America alone.

  3. She's pretty, but this generation just isn't interested in beauty pageants anymore. They're very shallow and just boring to watch

  4. This was cringy and outdated when I was a kid(almost 50). The intent of the show is never how it's displayed. If you get to speak to someone behind the scenes, they will tell you the truth. It really isn't worth it. Most of it is a facade. The process is almost as fake as implants

  5. Wow, her hair wasn’t even put up.
I can usually tell who is going to win by the way the hair is styled since what they win is a modeling contract.

It’s great that’s it’s a scholarship but she use to win that too.

I have to say Bring back the bathing suit competition, it’s sexist but it gives the females some idea of what to expect as a model.

  6. I like that there’re scholarships associated with this competition but it’s so shallow like ??! I’d rather see another show that is not based on appearance which wins a prize

  7. I used to love Miss America. Whyd they change it up? I was wondering why it went away, so the swimsuit thing is why. I totally get that, it was a part of the show.
