AFirstly, Tita L looks slimmer & prettier this time as Iâve missed tuning on beauty pageants for some time.
Kudos to ur detailed but careful assessment of current MI n Hannahâs participation
Perhaps wrong timing for the Philippines to win this year.
Btw, the only thing Tita said with which I donât agree is mentioning something nice to the awfully ugly Witchcraft-themed National Costume of Gabby Basiano during Miss Intercontinental 2022.
Suited for those amateur pageants held in community public parks & gym courts, Gabâs Miss Intercon costume was major downfall for Phil culture too!
Thank you for this highly interesting review of MI and Hannah. You have given solid arguments on many aspects of the competition. Yes, Jasmin Selberg has been training under The Queensâ Camp (TQC) since 2020. Her motivation is comparable to Filipina beauty queens and it is true what we read on various social media: She is a living âBarbieâ. She even looks better in person than most of her pictures surfacing online. MI crowned this year one of most authentic and deserving contestants. Hannah masyadong lanta walang man lng aura at di pla sa ganun umaura in person and may mannerism cya napansin ko,,so so sayang cya lng napasok sa Asia hay sinayang nya! Cabo Verde seemed like she copied a little the speech of Miss South Africa Zozibini
Hannah was the wrong choice to be sent to Miss International.. she is BORING, NO SEX APPEAL & NO X FACTOR.. THE MOST UNDESERVING CANDIDATE THAT THE PHILIPPINES SENT TO AN INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION. Hannah is facially inferior.. she is dead as a fish.. KAREN LAURIE should have won Miss International..
The Miss International group or organization was most likely looking for a European winner this time, specifically someone like Miss Germany. There's nothing wrong with that. It's what they felt for this time, and it's understandable because it's been a while. Perhaps the pageant world wants a short break from the long, neverending list of dominant latina (incl. Filipina) pageant representatives.
as to the theory that crowning other countries will create support is STUPID. Europe won't suddenly start being super-fans because the ME and MI crowns have gone to their kind. They have far better things to do and deal with like racism and migration.
she also got distracted from all the social media comments pointing out stupid small stuff like her clothes having wrinkles or her hair was a bit out of place. She mentioned this in a recent interview in the Philippine Daily inquirer. For those of you who contributed to this thinking you were being helpful, well, YOU WEREN'T

Hannah is a prototype of all the girls we send to Miss International..Iâm sure Nicole Borromeo will not advance further if sheâs the copy of Kylie and Hannah etc. Binibining must re- evaluate the girls to represent. Must be someone who is diffrent than the girls we sent in the past.

A very measured and level-headed assessment from Tita L as usual.
To me, what matters is that we retain our streak in any pageant our girls are sent to. If they place as a runner-up or even go on to win, then that's just a huge bonus on top of the placement. That should be always be our mindset. Yes, expectations will always be there, but reality should always keep us grounded. There's always a next year anyway, and we have no shortage of women brimming with potential.
Hannah Arnold lacked the IT factor, she looked bland and lacking energy and life during the finals. Her stars did not shine upon her.

Hannah is just meh. Simple as that. She was not on competitive mode
I agree with the last reason. I have always believed that winning a crown is a destiny. From the time that baby girl was born, she's already destined to have a crown on her head no matter what. (That's why there are surprise winners – for us.)
So simple, it was not Hannahâs destiny to win MI.
MI just sent a message to ALL "hostile" Asian countries: "NO FIGHTING or you don't get to sit with the grown-ups!
The sniping between countries' pageant fans leaves a bad taste and the org just didn't want to deal with all the toxicity.
Also, pageant fans' hypercritical vigilance might have sown doubt in our candidate's capabilities. The Filipino fandom's toxic reputation has become extra "baggage" that drags down its delegate. Calma lang! people.

Hanna is very dry and boring on the stage. Very beautiful but no spark.

Why not make a review as well on Germany's styling, choice of clothes, hair & make- up, swimsuit & gown choice, nat'l. costume, posture & body,, trainings, demeanor and everything that you Tita mentioned about Hannah that might contributed to her not advancing further or winning the crown? Just for balance Tita…also do a review about Germany para masabi talaga natin na missed yung kay Hannah at on point yung kay Germany kaya siya ang nanalo.

From being loyal tita L follower, i now support both Tita L and Adam. Why? Tita mostly observe from d comfort of her own home even if a big pageant was just in ncr (like miss earth) so her observations are mostly from same pov as ours. Her advantage is her impeccable commskills. Adam on the other hand exerts efforts and resources to attend all big pageants live (he attended both miss earth and miss international) and he will also attend miss universe. So he gets more insights and he can have better observation which translates to more scoops. His waterloo is his commskills although i see efforts and attempts to improve. Mabuhay kau pareho.and hoping na somedat magkabati na kau

Hannah could have recycled her evening gown and Costume from Bb. Pilipinas 2021 mas ok styling niya dun. Also her body is not well toned. And her drive to win is not there. Yung hunger na manalo is missing. Also laging siyang nkayoku just like Rachel Peters in Miss Universe.Observation ko lng.
