Valerianne Hinkley is an 18-year-old college student majoring in Elementary Education as well as the current Miss New England USA Ambassador Teen. In college, she is a part of the Honor Program along with Alpha Phi Omega where she holds the position of Vice President of Service. She is the recipient of the 2018 National George Washington Honor Medal for Be Bold Stand Up To Bullying and the 2020 Gold Presidential Volunteer Award. Her previous pageant titles include Miss Charitable Sweetheart 2020, Miss Holiday Angel Teen 2019, National Heart of America Miss Maine 2019, Miss Teen Maine International 2018, and Miss Teen Wilton International 2018. She is also working up her modeling portfolio.
Platform
Be Bold Stand Up To Bullying was created by Valerianne in 2017 as a way to raise awareness around bullying and the harm it can cause. She uses it to educate the public on the laws and the consequences that bullying can have on youth. A major part of Be Bold Stand Up To Bullying is raising awareness through her kindness projects like her Post-It Note Project, Positive Words Rock Project, Appreciation Flower Project, and the Clothes Pin Project. Since 2018 She has given out multiple Inspirational Awards across the U.S. for those who have been standouts for standing up to bullying. Through her platform, she demonstrates and encourages community service to help strengthen individuals’ bonds with their community.
