  1. This may be late but the gown that maxine used in the red carpet she was gonna use that as her gown in the finals but the zipper broke thats why she used that last muinite gown

  2. Spot on with Canada & Philippines. Their gown were disappointing. Canada's dress was totally wrong in all aspects. And Philippines' gown was a let down compared to her green fringe which is more unique & eyecatching..

  3. Hi Nia! Just an FYI, Miss Philippines Maxine Medina changed her gown during the finals night because the zipper of the original gown she was supposed to wear (the one she wore during the red carpet) broke down

  4. we Filipinos never made this kind of video. Even if most of miss universe shows were all held in the usa and you guys from usa were also part of the top 5 as ALWAYS…because we thought that you deserve it..

  5. now. this video explained why you made this review.. just because uss didn't win? please blame your country aside from the judges who where all from usa, USA's gown was boring!!!!

  6. philippines wasnt able to wear her red carpet gown because the zipper at the back broke so she made a last-minute choice to wear that gown she wore on the finals

  7. So sad that Maxine's interpreter got it wrong for her. Instead of translating the "most significant change" (panikamakabuluhang naganap na pagbabago), the translator asked Maxine "the most significant event (pinakamakabuluhang naganap na pangyayari)".

I know that Maxine heard Steve reading the question in English, but she did focus on the interpreter's words. Also, I know that Maxine did not give a spectacular answer on the question translated by her interpreter, but her answer was derailed from the right question because of that misinterpretation.

I hope people would understand why she answered that way, and stop saying negative things about her.

  8. Hi Nia, do you think the previous years have anything to do with the winner of Miss Universe?
for e.g. do you think Colombia was disadvantaged because of the previous 2 years?

  9. I am totally with you on the US related questions, when I heard the question about Trump to miss Kenya, I ask myself why did they give a so controversial question to a foreigner , that might be relevant in miss USA or miss Mexico case even perhaps miss England but not to anyone else representative.

And when it was the time for Miss France answer, I was so relieved that she knew enough to understand the question in english because the translator was really really bad. I am french and I didn't understand what he said in "french", from his accent I would say that he was canadian but from the english speaking part of Canada. He was a lot easier to understand in english than in french. Do you know how he was found? And where he came from? Because clearly his vocabulary was lacking.

I've heard there was the same issue with other languages translators: it might explains some awkwards answers during the first question serie. If the questions weren't correctly translated the answers will probably be off.

  10. According to the Pageant site here in the Philippines, her finals gown is the red gown made by Veric she wore in the red carpet but the zipper broke.

  11. Deshawna was only in top 13 because she was wearing USA, just a strong sash factor… had she even worn PR…. sorry to say you are just being partial to her…. in your entire video you didn't speak a word on HAITI who stood out through the entire night.

  12. LOVE THIS!!!!!! Seeing you guys together omg! Four of my faves Miss USA!!! Olivia Culpo, Nia, Olivia and Deschauna. You guys are slaying af!!!!!! Hope to see more from you, love you guys!!!!

  13. Totally agreed with Nia! I thought that the Top 3 was going to be France, Colombia, and Thailand.
I agree with everything you both were saying! 🙂
