If the new owners want to focus on women being transformational leaders I have no problem with that just donโt refer to the competition as a BEAUTY contest IF looks are not going to matter much!
Celesteโs performance was weak during the prelims. You were blinded.. Her advocacy isnโt strong as well which is why she did not even make it to the top 16โฆ
I read only women's names for the panel of judges and men are needed for diversity. The Miss Universe website also asks fans to vote for their favorite into the semi finals which noone really knew about, it's not advertised. Having no contestant from an entire continent doesn't meet the owner's new inclusiveness goal.

I STAYED AT HYATT REGENCY WHERE THE CANDIDATES WERE STAYING…I WAS WORKING OUT AT THE HYATT GYM AT 7am ON 32nd FLR WHEN I WENT OUT SAW IN THE OTHER ROOM THRU 2 GLASS DOOR AN EVENT WAS GOING ON THEY ARE HAVING BUFFET BREAKFAST AND HOSTED BY TELEMUNDO – 32ND FLR IS THE TOP FLR – 2 ROOM GYM AND EVENT ROOM AND 1 UNISEX RESTROOM OUTSIDE AND ONLY HAS 2 ELEVATOR TO GO UP 32 FLR SO WENT DOWN STAIR IN MY ROOM 24th FLR AND CHANGE WENT BACK AND GATE-CRASH AND I JUST WALK-IN I WAS JUST AT THE RT PLACE AND AT THE RT TIME I CALLED MY FRIEND JAY TO COME UP BUT WENT DOWN TO THE LOBBY INSTEAD.
WELL I ENTERED THE ROOM I LOOK FOR CELESTE SHE ALREADY LEFT I AM THE ONLY GUY DID SELFIE WITH MS USA, MS DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, MS VENEZUELA, MS COLOMBIA, MS EL SALVADOR, AND TOOK THE PIC TOGETHER OF MS SPAIN, MS COSTA RICA, MS NICARAGUA THEY WERE FRIENDLY AND SWEET….THE FIRST I TOOK A PIC WITH IS MS USA TOLD HER I AM A FILIPINO WE TOOK SELFIE SHE SUGGESTED TO TAKE ANOTHER PIC JUST TO MAKE SURE…SHE SPOKE TAGALOG TO ME, " MARAMING SALAMAT PO ! " I TOLD HER SHE WILL WIN AND THE REST IS HISTORY – SHE IS MS UNIVERSE ! IT'S HER DESTINY TO BE MS U – THE REASON SHE WON BECAUSE OF HER CONVICTION TO WIN I COULD SEE IT IN HER AURA IN PERSON SHE IS BEAUTIFUL BUT SHE IS MORE STUNNING AT THE STAGE SHE IS SO TELEGENIC HER TRANSFORMATION IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT – FROM NATURAL MAKE-UP TO STAGE PERFORMANCE PLUS SHE IS VERY INTELLIGENT AND A FASHION DESIGNER.
I HOPE FILIPINO STOP BLAMING AND BASHING CELESTE OR OTHERS FOR SCORING IS 50% ON CLOSED-DOOR INTERVIEW FOR THESE JUDGES ARE LOOKING FOR INTELLIGENCE AND AUTHENTIC-SELF IF YOU ARE FAKING IT THEY COULD TELL AND DISCERN.
WE DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED IN THE CLOSED-DOOR INTERVIEW WITH CELESTE.
I WOULD LOVED TO SEND YOU ALL THE PIC I TOOK LUIS VIA EMAIL SEND ME YOUR EMAIL I WILL FORWARD THE PICTURES AND WE CAN ALSO DO A ZOOM MEETING ON WHY CELESTE DIDN'T WIN.
I HOPE PEOPLE NEED TO STO BASHING CANDIDATES IT'S A TOUGH JOB AND NOT A JOKE ….THEY LOSE WEIGHT WITH THEIR HECTIC SCHEDULE AND YOU HAVE TO BE REALLY PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY, EMOTIONALLY, AND SPIRITUALLY IN JOINING THE PAGEANT. SO BE GENTLE WITH THE COMMENTS FOR AT THE END OF THE DAY – IT'S DESTINY ! I STAYED AT HYATT REGENCY NEW ORLEANS 6 DAYS.
I HOPE JUDGES FOR MS U SHOULD COMPOSE OF 4 MALE AND 4 FEMALE.

Then Miss Universe should change its name to โMISS UNIVERSE ALL WOMEN LEADERSHIP PGEANTโ
Because itโs no longer a beauty pageant anymore ๐ ๐ง๐๐ฅด
This year was nerve wrecking a lot of non sash factor countries stepped on Pageant power house
A heartbreak for a lot of power house ๐
The lesson we can learn from this is no matter who the girl is or what nationality she belongs, in order to win the coveted title of Miss universe you have to be on your A game from day 1, no matter which segment of the competition you have to check all the boxes and make yourself undeniable to the judges.
And that's what every past Queens had done.
There might be surprises in Top 16
But we got the strongest deserving Top 5.
If you're looking for a placement then you can perform decent and take the risk yourself to be competing along with the wild cards. But A Miss universe is always on the par and top.
This year it was a clash between Interview queens vs performer (50-50) chance
But the Top 5 was a full package profile

I think Missologos and people need to not underestimated another countries ( beside power houses ) โค๐ต๐ช๐Peru made it . This year many candidates need to learn that not only because you are from power house countries you will be made the top ๐คญ๐ฑ๐๐
Miss Tocuyo : Philippines, sorry but this year many Tocuyo Awards . Sorry but this is a reality for Thailand , Vietnam ! Many surprises this year !
It was shocking to the core that the Philippines didnโt make the first cut. That was really unprecedented to me. Itโs outrageous! Heartbreaking. The Philippines deserved a spot on the top 16 at the least. Her performance is at par with others w/ most of the top 16 delegates and much much better than a lot of others up there. Itโs the biggest blunder how many in the top 16 made it while Celeste didnโt. Itโs absolute BS. The collective level of ineptitude and travesty is mind-boggling on the part of panel of judges. They didnโt gave her a fighting chance at the least in the top 16. Philippines got served injustice. Iโm convinced there is something fishy took place, I dare say dubious about the whole exclusion of the Philippines from the first cut.

PERU WAS ALWAYS PREFERENCE IN TOPS ARROUND THE WORLD.
Celeste is wonderful and worthy. I could only imagine she unfortunately had a poor 2018 Miss Earth performance during interviews. She is still a wonderful representative and did Phillipines proud!

The worst Miss universe pageant ever after 2020, The music was bad, the hosts were very look warm, strong girls didn't make the cut EG: Thailand and South Africa (they knew those two girls was gonna kill it in the question round)., it seemed rigged, and the segment where the owner got on stage was extremely cringy and cheap felt like I was watching miss Grand. Even the winner she's beautiful but she doesn't scream Miss universe, Pretty but lack intelligence, We need a girl who's gonna revive the pageant after her crowning, young girls must wish to be like her, This organisation is stepping backwards, Change is good but they failing.It was stringer and more substantial under Trump
