  1. You can never really have a best review experience without Tita L of Titas Of Pageantry. 😍😍😍

As a pageant fan who often feel overwhelmed with colors and details esp when it comes to NatCos, I'm so delighted each time I learn something new about the richness of our culture and seeing the beauty of history in different forms and faces. Tita L always so generous in her expertise and commendable critiques. She knows what she's saying and she's giving her audience a direction where to look at and what to look for in a candidate that could best represent our country.

Thank you for this po! 💞

  2. I’ve been living here in Pasay for 37 years and I never thought that our City “Pasay” one of the original Cities have a very rich and colorful history..Thank You Tita for including that in your episode..I learned so much from this 😊❤️

  3. Miss Mandaue City's costume is actually my favorite. While I do pity those roosters who are being made to fight for entertainment, we have to admit that it is a part of our culture. Like wrestling and boxing, they are violent but people seem to enjoy it. It is a gray subject because yes, animals are getting hurt but don't we eat animals? As you said, it is very polarizing.

  4. Tita this is so educational. This makes me appreciate more our own local textile plus the historical/cultural background has made these costumes even more interesting. Love it! 👌😍

  5. I would have preferred to see and listen to all the history, meaning and symbolism behind their Natcos during the event rather than BTS. So thank you Tita for taking time to explain it to us.
PS: TY for including Aklan. I also find her Natcos very intriguing, mysterious yet elegant.

  7. Omg the amount of research and effort put on to this is amazing.. I can tell the difference compare to ……… Well done tita! ❤️

  8. I know that you/we get flack from comments that are not favourable to MUPH or specific people. I like that you stick to your guns and don't compromise what you believe is true/right. Ultimately, it's about being honest and making people accountable and to do better or give a different perspective at the very least. Unfortunately, in some cases, there's just no way to sugarcoat things and life is too short, do we really have time for that? Without naming names, some pageant vloggers are just too extra on the flattery that it makes everything fake and just blah. In any case, I enjoy your honesty, candor and you make pageantry fun. You also provide some good commentary and research on clothing and design which supports your credibility. Thanks and keep being you! 🙂

  9. Tita! The National Costume this year slayed. Calle Crisologo is such a perfect place for this event and the natural light gives justice to our girls costumes. As for the girls, my favorites were Baguio and Taguig. Love their costumes, very vibrant and intricate, also love their ways of presentation. The odd ones (on a positive note) among the group were Mandaue and Cebu City. I like the overall look of Cebu City but the "habi" part of her dress a little vague for me. Also I think that her costume fits more on the theme last year. Iloilo City and Aklan are MET Gala calibre. Hearing the background behind Pasay's costume makes me appreciate it more. For Makati, I love the simplicity of her terno and the color offers balance to the colors of other girls. However, I wished her skirt was a bit longer and I think a prop such as abaniko will be better instead of her holding her skirt with both hands. I agree with Albay's gesture with her bow. It makes me think whether they should have replaced it with a guitar instead. Overall love this review Tita ❤. Very informative and well presented. 👏
