MGI doesnt really understand its advocacy as the owner continues to entertain bashing and in that sense I think Nawat should learn deeply his advocacy. No major achievement so it’s just a minor pageant
Another fact: MGI’s winner is chosen by the owner. MU’s is chosen by the panel of judges.
I really hope that most pageants for women stay as being for natural born women.
There should be separate pageants/categories for anyone else.

Living in the US, I honestly think Miss Universe has completely loss its essence, from production to management drama, loss of vision, etc. I see Miss Grand rising and though it does have plenty to have fixed, it truly puts on a show, it honors and celebrates runner ups, has a clear vision , production , etc.

Grand is trash
For me, MISS GRAND is far better based on the production, the creativity, the pagent activity, and the master of ceremony, empirically by the BEST BEAUTY PAGEANT OF THE YEAR 2022 AWARD from GLOBAL BEAUTY ORGANIZATION.
I like to watch all the Grand Slam pageants. Then, I choose whose reign I will follow the entire year. For example, I follow Paulina's reign in 2014, Edymar in 2015, Iris in 2016, Demi-Leigh and Maria Jose in 2017, Vanessa Ponce de Leon in 2018, Zozi in 2019, Andrea in 2020, Chanique in 2021, Karolina in 2022 and now Andrea Aguilera and Sheynnis for 2023. There are 6 Grand Slam pageants. So if you don't like some winners, you can follow the others. You have 6 amazing ladies to choose every year.
Both Miss Universe and Miss Grands is now a Cooking Shows because the owner are Thai. They pick the winner eventhough there are Judges. Its a dirty game.
Miss Universe is an Airbus 380 with a First Class cabin, whereas Grand International is a Boeing 737 with Premium Economy at best.

It’s good they chose Nicaragua but hopefully next year someone not from Venezuela, US, PR or Phil. Someone refreshing to look at and haven’t won yet
As of 2023, both pageants are cooking shows.
Miss Grand is no substance pageant at all. Just a circus show.
