The Miss Universe 2015 WA Preliminary Final âBEAUTY AND THE BEATâ was held Friday April 10 at the sizzling hot Matisse Beach Club in Scarborough.
This highly anticipated event saw 24 of WAâs most beautiful women compete for a coveted spot in the Miss Universe 2015 National Final, with the ultimate prize of potentially becoming the next Miss Universe Australia.
Just to add to the beauty already displayed on the night, the show was hosted by Miss Universe Australia 2012 Renae Ayris, Miss Universe Australia 2011 Scherri Lee Biggs and Miss Universe WA Talent Manager Sophia Barbagallo.
The show included the opening number with the girls dressed by Lost Souls, the amazingly talented Jerrie Demasi singing Taylor Swift âShake it Offâ as the girls got the party started parading around her with playful choreography dressed in the sexy WA Brand Cebiche Swimwear. Followed by the quintessential question and answer segment giving the girls an opportunity to show their personalities and voice their opinions, while dressed in stunning Steph Audino gowns.
Rebecca Williams was crowned Miss Congeniality as judged by her peers, Daisy Jeanes took home the title of ToyBox International Ambassador for her efforts fundraising for the childrenâs charity, Emily Baldwin was The West Australianâs Viewers Choice and Annabel Slade received the iiNet Social Networker Award.
Congratulations to the 6 Finalists who will be heading to Melbourne to compete at the National Final in June; Brittany Taylor from The Vines, Daisy Jeanes from City Beach, Tayla Damir from Dianella, Nonny Mulholland from Ellenbrook, Kayla Paul from Mount Lawley and Melissa Barnard from Landsdale.
