Over 30 years ago, I remember seeing Michelle Royer, as Miss U.S.A.1987, in person at then-Century III Mall located in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. Who would have thought, while Michelle had set foot in the Pittsburgh area, that it had met its future husband being FM radio disc jockey Donald "Banana Don" Jefferson? As a wife, Michelle would have the Jefferson surname to be juxtaposed next to Royer. According to en.wikipedia.org, "Banana Don" and Michelle are still together in marriage 🙂🙂🙂.
Miss Florida USA 🇺🇸 1987, was the best then Miss Taxes USA 🇺🇸 1987. All 5 was very good and would had made a good Miss USA 🇺🇸 1987. Miss USA 🇺🇸 1987, came 2nd runner up to Miss Universe 1987.

Florida was so pretty but Arizona really should have won..The look of disappointment on her face when they called her name was hard! nice Texas won though,she seemed very humble and thankful! evidently TEXAS is known for its beautiful women.!3 times in a row? that proves it!

Michele Roiler is beautiful, she really should be Miss Universe 1987, her beauty and intelligence is unique, why she didn´t win Miss Universe pageant? I love Cecilia Bolocco but she is not prettier than Michelle Roiler.

I just loved all the videos about Miss Usa. I also think that Bob Barker should be back. He was the best host for Miss Usa and Miss Universe. The first Miss Universe he anounced was Miss Brazil(my country) in 1968. I'd like to know why he left the paegents. Could it be because he was anoucing only Texas as Miss Usa?
@muscled57 He was awful at the question part of Miss Universe – he always asked inane questions and was quite condescending. Not a fan, sorry.
@lianlaspinas That's b/c Allison was one of the contestants. She was the last Miss Teen USA titleholder to compete while she still wore her crown.

I still don't see what the big deal was with Miss Texas, Michelle Royer. Yes, she was pretty,but she was no raving beauty. She was way overscored.
I still think that all of the 4 runners up were much prettier than the winner.
