Congratulations to Noelia Voigt, from Utah! She is Miss USA 2023!! I am very excited for our new queen. When I saw her get crowned as Miss Utah (finally) she was my immediate front runner for the competition. But, her win was not easy, the ladies this year really fought for that title. They delivered some great performances and even better on stage answers. I really loved this class of queens! Of course I have thoughts on the entire show, which I’ll also share in this episode.

  1. 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅To much make up fake eyes color ugly hair style body is nothing wow

  2. It was such a competitive year! The girls were all so beautiful and so good on stage! Thank you for doing this as always! I hope a lot of them go on to still compete in different organizations! Also Dani I need a coup of this organization and let you take over! I didn't realize how bad it had gotten until you pointed things out!

  3. It looks like USA will win Miss Universe 2023. She's half Venezuelan. In November 2013, Venezuela won Miss Universe 2013 and she was crowned by the outgoing Miss Universe from USA. The 2023 Miss Universe Pageant will be in November. Noelia Voigt will be the second woman from Utah to win Miss Universe. Miss Universe 2022, R'Bonney Gabriel is the second woman from Texas to win Miss Universe. The last time Utah won Miss Universe was in 1960, Miss Universe 1960, Linda Bement. Linda Bement from Utah and Chelsi Smith from Texas both passed away in 2018.

  4. Personally I’m glad R’Bonney had other life changing opportunities. The way USA treated her, she didn’t need that energy in her life. She won UNIVERSE (primarily on her own) , so she’s definitely on a different, higher, more positive and productive level. However they could have acknowledged her. They’ve done that in the past with other Miss USA’s who went on to win Miss Universe and other countries do it as well…it’s called respect and common courtesy.

  5. I think one of the problems is that the organization does not have powerful sponsors, in the Trump Era, Trump had connections but now I think is difficult, since part of the Miss Universe Org was bought for a Thai Company with new "ideas" I think that they lost sponsors and connections, Fox was going to broadcast the Miss Universe unitl it was bought by the Thai company, I think many changes regarding " force inclusion " has lost the real essence of the pageant, we would like to see many changes as you said but the problems is that the pageant does not have even an important network or imporant sponsor because has lost the real essence, just saying, I hope that in the future the pageant became something relevant as in the past.

  6. DC and Virginia needed better gowns. I believe the gown Texas wore to finals was a replacement and wasn't the gown she had planned on wearing because hers ripped backstage. I was shocked New York didn't make top 20. Utah got passed up not once, but twice in Alabama where she won runner up two years in a row. Alabama really missed out on crowning her as Miss Alabama and bringing the Miss USA crown back to Alabama after so long. Miss USA has a great chance for a back to back at MU, I just hope Noelia has a team behind her helping her prepare and not in a situation like Rbonney was where she was left to prep all on her own.

  7. i used to think behind the scene commentators are important thus indispensable until i saw Miss Universe Thailand 2023. That show was very straight forward, best pageant by far this year.

  8. Amazing Miss USA recap, Dani – amazing content as always. I truly look to you as a benchmark for quality pageant vlogger content, especially when I create my own!

Just wanted to get your thoughts on two things:

    * I know you mentioned that R’Bonney had a VERY good reason for not attending Miss USA this year, but what do you think about the fact there’s no mention of her winning Miss Universe AT ALL? I know it’s a different scenario, e.g. in the Philippines where a Filipina Miss Universe retains her title and doesn’t give it up to her 1RU. Nonetheless I think it’s such a huge achievement for the USA to win Miss Universe (especially now that it’s not an American-owned organisation), and other countries make so much more of a big deal of it. I realise it was important to give Morgan her chance to shine and not be seen (too much) as R’Bonney’s replacement, but I’m keen to hear your thoughts on how a USA win at Miss Universe could be better acknowledged and celebrated? In years past, Olivia’s and even Chelsi’s and Brook’s victories were similarly downplayed, so I don’t think it’s purely to do with R’Bonney being in Paris
    * Much less importantly, but what do you think of the contestants being allowed to place their sash across their swimsuit or gown, as opposed to having it hanging over their shoulder, like they were allowed to do in the 1980s and 1990s? I personally liked the consistency of everyone wearing them over the shoulder, but I understand some of the queens want to show off certain details of their gown, for example, which could potentially be obscured by the higher-placed sash

    Greetings from Sydney, Australia!

  9. 2:36 I don’t agree with you on Jordan Kimball. He was good on prelims but I saw some scenes where he was hella uncomfortable during finals. Too uncomfortable that it could be read as being homophobic. He looked like a fish out of water😬😬😬

  10. I wanna confess that I spent the whole weekend looking at your videos (I hadn't had the pleasure to meet you), and I really looooved them! I think you have this lovely and funny way to comment your points of view! Congrats, Dani! ❤ big hug from a venezuelan fan! 👑🇻🇪

  11. Mahalo Dani-as always, on point. I don’t have access to streaming the show live-so these days I rely on your constant accurate assessments. I’m only a Miss Universe fan and as an older gay guy I used to have Miss USA and Universe viewing parties with like minded friends. It seems like these days one must be a hyphenated American to win-why can’t we all just be Americans? For the record my dna is Filipino, Puerto Rican, Portuguese and Spanish -born and reared in Hawaii -but missed the days when a contestant wasn’t representing 2 counties-sigh, it’s all changing. Keep doing you-you’re appreciated!
