Miss Philippine's catwalk is from the 80's. This is 2005. She should've reinvented herself. It made her look like she was stuck in the 80's.

I do not disagree. She was the most beautiful. But it is not all about that. Look at Miss Universe last year. Ms Czech Republic, gorgeous, made top 15, horrible catwalk, score was low. 7.300.

its not about whose been married the longest. or whos the oldest. being married is just a credential to enter. you have to be to date. modern. mrs. philippines was not. she was beautiful yes. but her catwalk set her back.

Mrs. USA did look like she was strolling down the mall. That is not good either. But my sister can stomp and catwalk better in 8 inch heels than Mrs. Philippines and she is only 12. Mrs USA looked natural. Philippines looked forced. Her arm movement did not go with her hip movement. It's like she was trying not to fall in the heels.

she was trained by Ines Ligron and Kurara Chibana. People don't naturally walk like that. They learn. Riyo naturally had the spunk and stage presence due to her dancing background. Twisting her hips and walking to the beat of the music came naturally. All she was taught was how to pose and her facial expressions during her walk.
I never said Mrs USA was fierce. She is not. Her walk was just like walking down the mall. And it was still better than Mrs. Philippines. She walked like her heels were falling off. I liked the way she twisted her hips but it looked so bad all together. She wasn't moving her shoulders or the rest of her body along with it.

Riyo Mori was not taught. She was just tuned up by Ines Ligron. Riyo's dancing background helped her on stage too.

well, THERE WERE A LOT OF SEMI-FINALIST CANDIDATES IN THE MRS. WORLD WHO "WALKED" WORSE THAN MRS. PHILIPPINES..specailly, MRS. USA.. SHE IS STILL THE BEST, MRS. PHILIPPINES..Riyo Mori was taught to walk that way thru a venezuelan coach, i think.. to flirt some more..and she got it!

Mrs. Philippines "WALK" was a lot better than MRS. USA and other candidates..so for anyone to say that she does not know how to walk – they shud think again about MRS. PHILIPPINES credentials before giving negative comments. Eillen Ford ask her to reperesent US in the Supermodel of the World for a sure win, but she declined and instead heralded PHILIPPINES. SHE SHUD HAVE WON the contest but IT WAS A POLITICS that ruled then. SO, ended up FIRST-RUNNER UP..

I have been talking to Ines Ligron about training Miss Philippines this year but she is busy with Miss India. Later in the year, she might train Miss Indonesia as well. All I am saying is that at BPCI, there were several girls that could've won Miss Universe. In 2007, Nicole Schmidt, in 2008, Karla Paula Henry.
if you are working for modelling industry you should have try to research who is miss philippines try to use your resources ok
its her style but it will not win anything these days. do you know why naomi campbell, tyra banks, and jennifer hawkins are reknown models and the most paid models today? because of their walk. she needs to adjust to the time. itsd not miss int'l 1979 or 1986 supermodel contest. it was the 2005 Mrs. World. She had lots of competition. I chose her out because she being from the Philippines should have more spice. The Euro girls will always be dry because they have no rhythm. But pinays do.
I was not being offensive so you shouldn't be either. My life is great. I do work in the modeling business, for John Casablanca as a matter of a fact. Do not accuse me of a liar when you do not know me. Miss Philippines is beautiful no doubt but she only has movement from the hips down. her upper body does not move at all during her catwalk. Look at the beauty queens of today: Jennifer Hawkins, Natalie Glebova, Riyo Mori, Dayana Mendoza. Those are catwalks. I am not insulting you or ur delegate.
I am sorry, I work for the modeling business. Miss Philippines no doubt is beautiful but her catwalk is just dreadful.
