Mutya Ng Pilipinas Twin Occasion

It was a twin celebration for Mutya Ng Pilipinas (MNP) as they shared their victory as well as their hope for another crown at a press conference get-together at CWC Interiors, BGC. Two Mutya queens shared the spotlight – Anie Uson and Shannon Robinson.
Triumphant Queen Anie Uson, the first Filipinas to win the title was crowned Miss Chinese World at the recently concluded competition in Kuala Lumpur. This pageant, now on its fifth edition, is focused on promoting Chinese culture and tradition among countries whose women are of Chinese descent. Ms. Uson from the onset showed her bearing as a true and graceful Filipina befitting the crown, who is proud of her Chinese heritage.

Meanwhile, a highly-motivated Shannon Robinson who was Miss Luzon in the recently- concluded 52nd edition of MNP will represent the Philippines in the forthcoming Miss Environment International Pageant (MEI) in Mumbai, India. She is set to leave on June 3. The grand coronation night will be on June 15,2023 in Thane, Mumbai & Maharashtra Province, India.

MNP explained to the media that it was the advocacy of environmental protection and awareness that drew the organization’s interest and support. Ms. Robinson was chosen as the duly-appointed delegate because of her passionate advocacy against pollution of the oceans and marine life due to oil spills and other major issues.
