  1. she's actually very beautiful, bright and fun. even if she had difficulties expressing herself in english (which is fine because it's not her native language), i think she was still able to pleasantly communicate the intent of her answers. the only slight problem was she had this habit of prolonging and extending her answers even when she already made her point. she didn't have to use all the seconds given to her.

    for example…
question: what are the misconceptions about your country?
china: i think Western people think Chinese people are short, traditional and quiet… but, look at me. and i… i…

when she proudly said "look me!" and spreading her arms, she should've stopped there. it was already an awesome answer. but no… she still wanted to say more… "and i… i…" (bell rings) her answer seemed unfinished because she extended more words.

    another example…
    question: what makes you blush?
china: blush? (giggles adorably) right now. 😉

she should have just stopped there after she said "right now." it was already the perfect, candid, honest and heartfelt answer. it would have been the best three-worded answer in MU history. but then again, she still spoke more like she always did… "and when i was with family… when i was with best friend… when i was with Puerto Rico friends… and i think i'm proud right here… and i think i'm first to be here…" ah, she blew her answer, again. lesson: when you know you're limited with your english speaking skills, keep it sweet and minimal. and when you have made your sincere point, wrap it up. don't extend your answer anymore or you might just end up blunting your idea.

Miss China could've won 1st runner up (instead of 2nd), or possibly, she could have won the Miss Universe crown.

  2. @shalababy2010 you don;t keep coming back to this cite to read comments. You don't keep coming back to put up more comments, Why do you keep cuming back to look at this video?

  3. @shalababy2010 Just made an observation. Look at all the other comments of people speaking of her, you haven't replyed to them, just me. Are you addicted to me?

  4. during the final question, if she just did not extend her answer like she always did, she would have won the title. "blush? *smiles* right now." —- stop. that's it. it's already a winning answer.

  5. ms. china is amazing.
even though she has a hard time expressing herself in english, i get her message nonetheless. she is fun and honest. 😉 although the thing that she needs to practice is to stop extending her answers when she already made her point. but overall, i love her personality.
