  1. Hey I hope you respond and soon. So my daughter won a preliminary title as the baby queen so her 250$ entry is paid for also I have to pay to Enter her in each division that I choose but if I don’t do the ads will that effect her or her score in anyway? That’s my biggest issue because I honestly don’t really feel like nor want to do it 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

  2. My daughter sold ads for International Girl Competition. She sold six pages of ads to help cover her costs. It was not required of her, but she could not have competed with the revenue the ads generated. She was 12 and she went to each business and made a presentation to each business owner. She even performed her talent which was a comedic monologue for some of the owners. It was a great experience for her. She really enjoyed it and won the pageant's Popular Miss that year and won a huge cash prize for selling the most ads in the whole pageant. She was so happy and wants to sell ads again. I know that she worked hard and paid her own way to go. She also learned a lot about her community and the businesses there. They didn't give trophies for the sales. It was to help pay their entry fees and then they won prize money for the top seller.

  3. hey there! thanks for watching! There is a lot of stuff about the pageant word that is very shady I am actually writing a short book that I am going to publish on amazon. Love your screen name here!

  4. can get. I would think that more people would go into it for the experience and for fun, but it seems to get really serious if they are actually trying hard to sell all those ad pages in order to win. And it's really not fair that the people running the pageants put the pressure on and make it seem like you won't win if you don't put effort into selling. Hopefully girls and women who are participating in pageant will see this video and think more about it before investing all that time and money

  5. haha You kept getting ghetto. lol that's cute. I do that all the time and my boyfriend always points it out. "You're talking ghetto again." D: Anyway, good advice. I've never participated in pageants but this is something I wouldn't have really thought of. It's kind of like high school year books. Senior pages were like $150-200 for one page. Ridiculous, and I don't think it's worth it. I'd rather buy my own crown and trophy in the end. It's interesting to hear how wrapped up in winning people
