  1. Ideally Paul was right but in this situation he was completely wrong with just stated later in episode she obviously wanted to be in the pageant no it was forcing her to do anything so she should be able to do it

  2. I don't have a problem with pageants, but girls as young as Santa Monica shouldn't be allowed to wear makeup and heels. Shouldn't children be encouraged to love themselves from an early age as opposed to forcing unrealistic beauty standards on them? However, as much as I'm on Paul's side here, heels were originally invented for men.

  3. I like the premise of the show but I do think Tikka was wrong for this role because the continuity of the show doesn't fit on blackish rainbows mother with light skinned and Tika is clearly dark-skinned so how do you go from being dark skinned in the 80s but light-skinned in mm not possible unless you're trying to say her mother bleached her skin also continuity issues in the storyline

  4. “Ooooh Science just went on tour can you get me backstage to meet Science”
This is too funny😭😭😂 but I’m 100% with Paul on this one! Science is a talent!

  5. I don't like pagents and I don't think they should exist AT ALL ( don't come with the " it build confidence " cuz that's bullshit and we all know it ) but especially child pagents should be banned
Can you imagine what this does to a child's mind

  6. He is right. I don't know why we still do pageants. If you really want to give young women scholarships, I bet there are better ways than parading them in swim suits.

  7. A) heels were originally worn by men, they were not meant to be worn by women, nor were they to control women.
    B) While waking isn’t a talent, how you present yourself to others can help you in a future job interview if you think about it. A graceful and elegant person is always looked highly upon because of the way they carry themselves. THAT is a good skill
    C) science can be a talent. A recent beauty competitor won the Miss Virgina pageant with a science presentation. (She was a biochemist and her name is Camille Schrier.)
    D) It’s weird that Paul is talking about beauty pageants being bad and limiting towards women, while he himself, a man, (although a father) is forcing his daughters to not participate in beauty pageants even though they want to. This logic is honestly backwards.
    E) The lady just said that pageants are meant for girls to love themselves and their community. There was literally no ill intent to harm the girls or their self esteem.

  8. He has come a long way from chanting, "swim suits, swim suits, swim suits." Then again, he also advocated for men to compete with women in beauty pageants, even if it was for a bet.

  9. In my country we appreciate the beauty, sure, but what we really talk about are costumes and the Q and A portion. I don't think we even have a talent portion, unless it's a town thing. And it's mostly sing, dance poetry or acting.

  10. I'm with the hippie. Kid beauty pageants ain't right. Also super creepy. Also pedo magents. Also how we got Honey Boo Boo. Nothing positive ever comes from those things.

  11. I'm with Paul here. 1) You can take science on tour. It's called NASA. 2) As a heterosexual 22 year old male with life experience, I don't really care about appearance. Hygiene and personal health is one thing, but all that matters is how she is as an individual. I want a partner, not a bitch.
