Another issue Bb. Pilipinas faced after the coronation of the recent winners, was that they may have intentionally left out acknowledging Precious Lara Quigaman as a title holder along with past winners during the special VTR for Bb. Pilipinas Beauty Queens on the 2009 coronation night. Rumor has it that BPCI may have ill-feelings towards Quigaman since she and a couple of other beauty titlist created their own beauty pageant, the “Turismo Pilipinas”.
Quigaman says that she did feel bad at first with the “snub” (she did after all win the Miss International title, during her reign), because felt that there was no real reason for it. If her said affiliation to “Turismo Pilipinas” was the reason, she claims that this is her way of showing that she too can hep other Filipina women like herself acheive their dreams of becoming a beauty queen -something she picked up from being with the BPCI management and Madame Araneta herself. And that she has never forgotten the help she’s gotten from Bb. Pilipinas.

Dapat pinapalitan na ang BB Pilipinas management for bad results from international pagenats for the past 10 years. Daming magandang filipina bakit hindi nila makayang piliin at ipadala sa mga competitions. Kumbaga sa job evaluation, ito ang rating nila: Does Not Meet Expectation.
