It breaks my heart that POC, especially female POC (because the beauty industry is more targeted to a female audience – western culture tells women they need to change to improve) struggle to see their true and unfaltering beauty. You are gorgeous as are every other stunning brown skinned, curly haired, beautiful girl. Society needs to sort its self out because I want you to feel like you can walk into your corporate work with banging braids and feel confident and supported in doing so.
