I am happy with Utah's win. She gave the best answer in the final 5. I think the final rankings were right. Miss Texas and Miss Pennsylvania gave the worst answers. Pennsylvania literally played the race card about being a black woman in the top 5. It is not 1962. I agree with your comments on Hawaii. I would have put someone else in her place but it was nice seeing an Asian in the top 5. Wisconsin was a pleasant surprise. She made my top 20 after prelims. I was happy with the amount of blondes that made the top 20. I did not think Wisconsin would be the blonde to make the final 5. I thought it would be Nevada. I think Utah will do well at Universe. I do hope her styling is different.

Hey Dell, also, the girls at Miss USA only get one chance to compete. They can compete multiple times for a state title, but once they move on to nationals, you can only compete once.

She is half Venezuelan. She is also Caucasian American I believe. I would have liked to see a tall blonde represent the US this year since so many candidates are very tall this year. And a blonde would have been a nice change. But regardless the new Miss USA is gorgeous.

Yeah Utah solidified her win with those street interviews! Overall it was an okay show. I wish they had a live performer during evening gown. I also didn’t like the 20 to 5 cut. And agree I wanted Texas and Utah holding hands. How iconic would’ve that been?! I think she messed up with her answer tho. I feel like she didn’t answer it throughly but still I think she was better than Hawaii lol
