I FELT REALLY BAD FOR HOW RUPAUL SPOKE TO HER IN THIS EPISODE!!
Rupaul to Daya: “tell me about your diabetes…and your talent is what? You are literal garbage to even think lip syncing on Drag Race could actually work. YOU BETTER COME UP WITH AN ENTIRE NEW CONCEPT AND HAVE IT PERFECTED IN THE NEXT 20 MINUTES AND HAVE IT APPROVED BY PRODUCTION OR ELSE YOU ARE GARBAGE” (at least that’s how I took it)
Rupaul to Jorgeous, Jasemine, and Angeria:
“So you’re going to be doing a lip sync number for the main stage…absolutely brilliant! SLAY QUEEN!!”
Don’t get me wrong I think the judging ended up being fair in the end…however I don’t think Rupaul needed to get in Daya’s head and make her feel bad. It isn’t like she could really change anything or do anything but what she already planned on doing.
AND THEN YOU HAVE RU AWKWARDLY TELLING THE QUEENS ABOUT MADDY BEING STRAIGHT….I thought that was a bit cringe and kind of gross.
