  1. I'm blessed enough to have become chums with Bryce over on his Twitch site.. he's an avid gamer, with 2 nutso adorable cats, and WORKS IN AEROSPACE ENGINEERING of all things. He's such a sweetheart, and I know he'd love to actually meet me in person after <<all my snarkiness>> [I WISH that had been my drag queen name in High School!] in the twitch chat and discord LOL

  2. I think the reason Willow didn't throw the toaster in was to subvert our expectations of what should happen when we see a toaster next to a bathtub. So she takes the toaster out and we think "oh shit here we go, I know what's going to happen here" but instead she just pops the toaster to actually eat the toast. Hilarious!

  3. When June walked in wearing that outfit … I honestly thought it was a gag and that there was going to be a reveal that they were one of the production crew – then the real competitor would walk in haha

  4. I somehow managed to miss this episode but i knew of Kornbread before she went on the show so its no surprise that i'm on her team. From the clips i've seen, she exudes personality and character and it really contrasts with someone like Orion who TRIES to exude quirkiness and character. It didn't feel 'natural' in her case and her aerobics thing even seemed like a retread of Love Connie or Crystal's one woman show character.

I like Willow Pill's offbeat aura but is it a prerequisite to have some kind of disease or syndrome to be in The Haus of Oddly? lol

  5. Hi Wilma. Just to let you know there is an UNTUCKED, I think it dropped later though. Its definitely there on WOWs site as I watched it before I watched you hun.
I loved them all. Wasn't sure I would do.
I bet Orion gets a chance to come and win her way back into the competition.
I enjoyed the talent show, Orion made me cringe a bit though and I felt so sorry for June wearing those tights and the spanx. Though when you watch UNTUCKED you'll understand why. It was all a bit of a lovefest and I even warmed to Alyssa Hunter as she revealed some things about herself and also ate some humble pie and wasn't afraid to admit having "opinions" about certain other Queens. I think I'll give her a 2nd chance. 😉 xx

  6. Mama Doo… I am shook by your mug eveytime, and I'm an almost 40yr old qween who has seen a lot of drag. Simply STUNNIN'! Keep up thuh guys werk.👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌😘

  7. Gosh where is the love for the Canucks? We got both untucked (you missed nothing) and the toaster in Aus. That said, Canada has you Wilma and your review are the best part of Drag Race.

  8. btw Wilma: while the original broadcast of ep1 from last Friday did not feature Willow dumping the toaster in the tub, the current edit (which I just watched) does. to be precise I think she dumps it in to a wastebin situated behind the bathtub but the suggestion/optical illusion is that she dumps it in that tub. if memory serves (and it may not cuz I'm older than dirt with a limited attention span. and I drink) she simply laid the toaster aside in the Friday edit, can anyone confirm that for me please. also I could swear that on the Friday night edit Orion during the talent show said she had a hot 'one' in the chamber, but on the current edit airing on Crave she flat out says she has a hot 'shit' in the chamber. again, I could be mistaken given my advanced age and memory issues and ADHD and the fact that I'm always doing at least four things at once (watching the show, fixing my Kraft Dinner, ironing, darning socks, neutering the neighborhood cats. and drinking). someone please confirm?

  9. Loving the Harley Quinn after years of therapy and lesbian love with Poison Ivy look on you. I came away from things loving Bosco and Kornbread and Willow surprised me. They were my top 3. Her number was so much like something John Waters would have filmed…hubby and I roared with laughter. I expected the toaster to go in too. I love June’s mug…it would be perfection as long as Kerri isn’t standing next to her. I got the Mars Attacks attempt for Orion but it was poorly done you had plastic boob seem coming away from the fabric. I just oh honey’d her…not since Serena ChaCha has there been a more obvious early out. There was an untucked though Wilma…I remember watching it.

  10. If someone told me the real contestants were quarantined and this bunch were who the producers rounded up from the local clubs and bars, I'd believe it. I'm not wowed by anyone this season so far.

  11. Oh, I thought Willow had tossed the toaster in the tub before she climbed in – and that was the funniest part. I don't get why her number was so funny (and I'm from the E. Village during Ru's era).

  12. I really enjoyed this premiere. Kornbread, Willow, and Bosco all nailed this episode: I know exactly who they are and what their drag is about and I can't wait to see more

  13. I loved your review per usual, Wilma. I will say that I think Miss Jambalaya is making some spice though, as well as attention to detail. I don't see her making it much further, unfortunately. Unlike Miss Kornbread who definitely has top 4 energy. I am so stoked for next week!

  14. Orion walking in and saying she’s the first ever queen from Michigan is so ironic 🤣🙊 wait until you’ve done something before claiming a first! Lol! I think there will be a twist with the first two eliminated though. There were some really funny bits and Willow Pill’s self care performance was hilarious 🛁

  15. I enjoy the split start to the season! You're right that it gives us just a little more time with the new queens. I was sorry to see Orion go, if only because her entrance look held the promise of more camp, but that comedy sketch really didn't work. Interesting concept but not enough time to make it happen. LOVED Bosco's burlesque performance. I love a good burlesque, even if I haven't attended that many. Cornbread is easily top in my heart. I feel like this is the kind of queen Silky wanted to be but never quite got there. I was actually glad to see Alyssa in the bottom 3. She's polished and beautiful and expensive looking…. and brought nothing new to the competition. Let's see if this wakes her up to the fact that this is a competition, and that crown isn't going to be handed to anyone. Willow is definitely intriguing but I'm a little worried that unless she can sew and take advantage of the fabric wall, she might have been out spent by the other competitors in her wardrobe. What we've seen so far hasn't been bad but very overshadowed by the level the other competitors are pulling out.
Thanks for a great review! 🙂 As ever, it's just not a complete episode until I get my Wilma fix!
